Meitu Xiu Xiu for Android (thinking about Japan~)

In preparation for my trip to Japan, I've been thinking about technology. XD Last night I registered for Japan's Starbucks and 7 Spot, today I took a look at more advanced phone photo editors (ideally with spot healer/clone tool because I'm bound to get a major zit or two :P).

Aaaand, I'm also writing this from my phone for practice..! :)

Anyway, from the few photo editing apps I looked at or tried, the Meitu Xiu Xiu one turned out to be the best by far and, ironically, the easiest (despite being in Chinese)!



My PC photo editor of choice is usually the browser editor Pixlr, though I have given Meitu's online editor a go once before. Either way, it's still pretty new to me..! Here are my first two attempts~



From a few days ago- just wearing natural style upper lashes! ^^ I was going to do full makeup but my BF came home early and distracted me. XD I did try one some lower lashes with them but they weren't the right choice. ^^;; For this image, I used the 'face' editor.


From Jim-dear's Christmas present to me: Rocky Horror at the Hippodrome! :D I tried out both the 'flower' editor and the 'face' one on this image (first one, then the other, as I don't think you can switch between the two).

The tools aren't perfect, or rather they're not what I'm used to with Pixlr, and I'd love to have a 'redo' button (EDIT: There is one! But only in the main screen, not within the actual micro-editors), but overall it's very good! ^^

As for this app (Blogger), it's raising a lot of questions..! XD がんばりますね！

    I just downloaded meitu xiu xiu on my phone, so far I have only used it to play around, but I love the tool that you can use to make your face smaller, it is just hilariousxD
    Me and Emi would love to meet up when you come to Japan>.<

Ugh, I can't remember which app it was, but with one of them it had a bulge function where you couldn't change the starting size (inner circle), only the final size (outer circle which you could move out as far as you wanted). >< So you could only increase a small area, but increase it dramatically. The results were very bizarre. XD

      I would love to meet up! What area are you two in? Tokyo? :)

    3. Cool, I would love to see Shibuya with a couple of gals who know the area! :)

      We're in Japan from the 13th-26th of Feb; travelling to and from Narita airport so we'll start in Tokyo for a day or so, go up north for a couple of days then along to Fukuoka for (I think) the 17th before making our way back towards Tokyo (stopping in the Kyoto/Osaka/Nara area). :) So we'll be in Tokyo mostly after the 20th or so~ Would also love to visit DisneySea on one of those days! X3

      I guess you guys are most busy during the week? Want to meet up on the weekend? :)

    4. Actually, we are on our spring vacation right now, so whenever is fine with us^^
      But going to shibuya might be more fun on the weekend as there are more people there :P
      and we really recommend going to Shibuya in the evening, that is when it is the most lively! x3

      Shops are open until late in Iceland, but it is no fun going to them in the eveningxD
      hahaha...haha..haaaa..xD Atom is there, but we have actually never really gone clubbing herexD but Atom is really popular, and there are some other^^ we went to one on Halloween that was ok:) But then there is karaoke, arcades, Izakaya and stuff like that^^
